She received BA in International Affairs and German Language with 1st Class Honours from Thammasat University, with highest GPAX (Summa Cum Laude) in 1996. She won Leeds-ASEM Chevening Scholarship to study MA European Politics (EU Public Policy) at University of Leeds, UK and further won Thai government\u2019s funding for doctoral degree at the same place. Nowadays, Natthanan is a full-time professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences, Chulalongkorn University. She is also the Director for the Interdisciplinary Department for European Studies overseeing MA and PhD in European Studies. She also editors of Journal of European Studies and Newsletter of European Studies. Natthanan is also enrolled in Certificate on Comparative Regionalisms from American University, USA and Central European University, Hungary in 2012. In 2016, Natthanan was awarded the European Union Jean Monnet Chair Professorship, the first Thai and ASEAN to be titled this honourable professorship.[\/wr_vc_section_text][wr_vc_section_title title=\"<\/p><h3>Jean Monnet Chair Professorship and Jean Monnet Modules<\/h3><p>\" margin=\"30px 0px 0px\"][wr_vc_section_text]Aiming to bolster teaching and research in the field of European Union studies, Jean Monnet Chair Professorship was established more than thirty years ago and have been awarded to professors with a specialisation in European Union studies. Jean Monnet Programme comprises three principal activities: Jean Monnet Modules, Chairs and Centres of Excellence, Jean Monnet support to Associations, and Jean Monnet Networks and Projects. With the support of the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union, Natthanan Kunnamas is launching a project \u201cTranscending the European Union to the Thai Public by Chulalongkorn University: Jean Monnet Chair Professorship,\u201d Comprised five activities, in order to extend the continuity of EU studies in Thailand and Southeast Asia and also serve EU humanistic values, public diplomacy and publicity.
